Recent Dissolved Oxygen Monitoring and Control Project in Waste Water Works for Major Utilities Company

ClipperTech were involved in specification, purchase and installation for six new dissolved oxygen probes on a major WWTW.

The application included fitting the new probes and mounting assemblies, interconnecting wiring and commissioning to the existing variable speed drive aeration compressors.

The new system allows the operators to view the dissolved oxygen levels and liquor temperature from the HMI, which is mounted at the aeration lanes. The new LDO dissolved oxygen probes need significantly less maintenance than the older electro chemical type systems that were originally used.
