The SLD range of ultra-slim surge protection units are designed to protect process control signals from the effects of high voltage transients and overloads.
THe SLD67-16 has a clamping voltage of 16V which makes it ideal for process control signals like 0-10Vdc.
A range of other clamping voltages are provided for other signals such as thermocouples, RTD's, digital inputs and RS232/485 communications links.
Connection to earth is automatic via a DIN rail clip which has a large surface are to maximise the discharge current and minimise the chance of any damage occuring. The ultra compact 6.7mm design makes themm both space saving as well as cost saving!
